    Description

EBay lot # 60-2 Sometimes, but not always, I am in the mood for pastels, so if you are in the mood as well, then you should look at this lot. The collar brooch is made in the style of a cluster of fruit hanging on a stem with gilded brass leaves--the remainder of the metal on the brooch is gilded brass as well. The brooch is made of celluloid, and the color varies a bit from a pale peach to pink. The main item I noticed is the wires that secure the beads to the brooch--they are brass, not gilded, so they are the color of aged brass(darker). The brooch is 2 1/4 by 2 1/4 at the widest parts in either direction. The clip-on earrings are brass(darkened), with pearly pink pastel celluloid cabochons, about 1 1/4 inch in diameter--very glamorous! The necklace is unusual--I thought a first it was one of those that had satin beads, that actually have satin fibers around a plastic center; however, they are beads that are actually made of a vintage plastic that looks like the satin beads, but they are much more durable! No snagging the satin fibers on other items! They are very lightweight, so I suspect celluloid for this one as well, with plastic faux pearls and silvertone bead caps between the peach satin beads. Very pretty, 21 inches long, with an aged brass hook clasp--I have no way of knowing if the hook is original to the necklace or not..
All items, upon sale, are individually wrapped, packaged securely to avoid damage during shipping, then shipped via USPS First Class mail. Insurance is included in the shipping and handling fees. We appreciate it if you pay within two days after the auctions' end, and we will ship your item within two business days of receiving payment. We do offer returns, and we want to hear from you if there is a problem with your order. We want to keep our customers happy with their orders, so we work hard to resolve any issue that arises. Happy bidding, and if you check out our other items on ebay, you may just find something else you cannot live without! In that case, you are in luck, as we offer combined shipping on all multiple purchases.
All vintage items will sustain a normal amount of wear, due to the passage of time--even an unused item can age due to factors such as temperature, humidity, and handling. Items listed as in great to excellent vintage condition will not necessarily look like new, and unless I state that an item is in pristine or mint condition, you will expect to see some indication that an item is not new. If I can tell that a repair has been made, I will tell you in the listing. Do not expect complete perfection unless that is expressly stated. Also, if you are bidding or planning to bid on more than one item to take advantage of the great savings in shipping costs, you will need to contact me to let me know. I am happy to combine shipping separate lots, but I am not a mind reader, nor is it easy to tell, unless the bidding is ended, whether a buyer is involved in more than one bid, unless they are winning. I will allow a limit of up to 14 days as a cutoff for combining lots, to help you save money on shipping charges as well as to help me save money on packaging and materials. I am striving towards a goal of excellence in customer service, and I just ask that you help me make that possible. I will do my best.
