    VINTAGE
    CANDLEWICK BY IMPERIAL BUTTER DISH
    Lovely vintage molded glass butter dish measuring 7" long 3" deep, and about 2-1/2" in height.  Featuring the charming Candlewick pattern by Imperial with applied dainty beads around the edge, base has molded handles on each end and top bears a graduated bead design - so Art Deco in feel.  Introduced in 1936, condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - a hint of roughness around the lid edge from mold removable!  Dating 1940s, this was part of my Grandmother's set -- she always filled it with a long stick of butter for the holiday table.  Just a wonderful vintage Candlewick serving piece.  Lovely addition to any home, collection or display!
