Note that each 10-PACK consists entirely of the same attenuator value (i.e., 10 units of FAM-3 3dB; 10 units of FAM-6 6dB; and so on).
If you are near a station’s broadcast tower, reception of that station – and other stations – can be impeded by signal “overload.” Consider using an “attenuator” or removing amplifiers to improve your reception.
In-line attenuators can be inserted in coaxial cable feeds to
reduce
signal levels.
Attenuator signal loss ranges from 3dB to 20dB; combinations of attenuators may be used together to create the exact signal loss needed.
